The areas circled in red represent special modifications.
On the staircase where our climbers are erected,
our Customer - Petrochem, E.O.N. for L.G.&E
needs access to the front and both sides of the staircase.

The climber platforms had to accomodate access
to the side of staircase area by recessing around
the structure to the left of the staircase
then wrapping the walkboards back around the side.

Typically walkboards form a ninty degree turn;
but, it is not uncommon for AMC to be requested
to make 'Special Modifications' to the walk surface
that allows access to otherwise inaccessible areas.

We have the capability to form arcs or radii
and allow access to hard to reach areas or,
as in this case, recess the surface area at the
front of the climber to step it back and allow side access.

This ability to adjust and make specific modifications
to a standard piece of equipment is just another
